London's libraries require urgent
attention. Many are stuck in the past with rows of old, unattractive
books in antiquated buildings. We must bring our libraries into the
twenty-first century. Modern collections

transformed, not only by ensuring that the latest books are stocked and
available but that the shelves hold new and relevant books.
A conducive environment
Many people lack an attractive place to work and study, libraries should give this
opportunity. We should invest to give Londoners twenty-first century
libraries that will be open seven days a week, from 6am to 10pm.
Online borrowing
We should make all London's library books available for online borrowing,
with free delivery and returns.
